And the part that matters most: the rumor didn't come from a source, a report, or an 'insider.' It came from an anonymous user on an online community who later admitted they had simply made the whole thing up — a fabrication that real people then amplified as if it were fact.
So to be clear, nearly three years on: there was no investigation of Chaewon, no case, and nothing true about any of it — just a lie that got caught. She deserved better then, and she deserves the record set straight now.
