IVE's Ahn Yujin Shares Tour Sightseeing Across North America

IVE's leader is out here doing North America — Montreal, Newark, Austin — and posting oversized-pizza content in a pink cowboy hat. the group's on tour and Yujin is winning the sightseeing.

while IVE tear across North America, Ahn Yujin decided to also win the tourism awards. on July 29 she posted a photo dump captioned "tourist mode," and bestie ate that down.

the fit rotation? a gray off-shoulder top, a sleeveless slip, and — the pièce de résistance — a pink cowboy hat. she also held up a slice of pizza roughly the size of her torso, because relatable queen behavior.

the group's been touring the continent since July 23, hitting Montreal, Newark, and Austin, so these are receipts from an actual working schedule, not a vacation. multitasking icon.

netizens were, predictably, down bad — one comment compared the vibe to "a first love studying abroad." and if you needed more Yujin, she's also on tvN's 'Space Rice Cake' July 31. she's everywhere. we simply allow it.

IVE Open North American Tour With First Canada Shows

the girls opened the 'show what i am' na leg in toronto and montreal — their first-ever solo shows in canada — and dives sang every korean lyric right back. wonyoung soloing to '8' has me UNWELL.

the girlies said o canada and MEANT it. ive just kicked off the north american leg of their 'show what i am' world tour with their first-ever solo concerts in canada, and the footage has me spiraling.

they hit toronto on july 21 and montreal on july 23 — the group's first time headlining their own shows in canada since debut — and per starship the whole thing got upgraded: new styling, beefed-up staging, the works. mother tour is mothering.

setlist-wise they did not miss: opened with 'gotcha' and 'xoxz,' ran through 'love dive,' 'attitude,' 'i am' and 'rebel heart,' and during 'bang bang' the crowd sang the korean lyrics back word for word. the growth. the globalization. i'm emotional.

the solo stages were the main event, obviously — wonyoung took on '8' while rei, liz, gaeul, leeseo and yujin each got their moment to serve. six soloists in a trench coat, respectfully.

ive said through starship they were "able to begin our North American tour on a great note" thanks to dives, and same. next up: newark, austin, los angeles, oakland, seattle and vancouver. if she's coming to your city, lock in — this is not a drill.

IVE to Bring 'SHOW WHAT I AM' Tour to North America

the tour hits canada and the US from late july before wrapping the leg in vancouver, then swings to hong kong and taipei in september. six members, six solo stages — start budgeting now, bestie.

the detail that should honestly be illegal: every single member of IVE has built her own solo stage into this setlist. six women, six individual moments, one arena full of people each sobbing at a different point in the night. "each member has also prepared a special solo stage," the group told Billboard. ma'am. the fancam situation is about to be catastrophic.

the routing: after finishing the asia, australia and new zealand run, anyujin, gaeul, rei, jang wonyoung, liz and leeseo pick it back up in late july with toronto and montreal, then newark, austin, los angeles, oakland and seattle, before circling north to close the leg at rogers arena in vancouver on august 9. arenas the whole way down.

and it doesn't stop there — september brings two nights in hong kong and two more at taipei arena. rest was, apparently, not among the options presented to them.

the whole thing is built on 'REVIVE+,' the 12-track album from february that hit No. 3 on Billboard's World Albums chart and landed roughly three years after 'I've IVE.' the group says there's a stack of new material they've been itching to play live, which is both a threat and a promise.

for context on the demand: their 2024 run was the seventh-highest-grossing k-pop tour of that year at $10.8 million across just ten shows, per Billboard Boxscore. TEN shows. now imagine what a full north american leg does to that math.
