IVE's Wonyoung Joins Voice Cast of Animated Film 'Agami'
'Agami' lands in theaters with a cast so stacked it's basically a live-action film that forgot to hire a camera.
no bc WONYOUNG casually added 'voice actress' to the resume like it's nothing. IVE's Jang Wonyoung has joined the voice cast of the Korean animated film Agami, hitting theaters September 9 — and mother is once again mothering across an entirely new medium.
the lineup is genuinely insane for an animation?? we're talking Jung Hae In as the lead Gon, plus Kang Ha Neul, Lee Chung Ah, Yoo Jae Myung and musical queen Kim Sun Young — with Wonyoung sliding right in like she belongs there (she does). it's giving prestige film, not Saturday-morning cartoon.
Agami is directed by Ahn Jae Hoon and based on Koo Byung Mo's novel, following Gon — a boy who grows GILLS in a world where they appear on anyone thrown into deep water. surreal, a little haunting, extremely 'we are going to sob in a theater over a fish boy.' the first poster is already serving delicate hand-drawn visuals and we are OBSESSED.
we don't know how big Wonyoung's role is yet, but a global it-girl lending her voice to an arthouse animation is exactly the range we scream about. September 9, mark it, set a reminder. we are so back. 🐟

IVE's 'I AM' Becomes Group's First MV to Hit 400 Million Views
the 2023 monster hit crossed 400M on youtube on august 30 — three years, four months and change to get there. iconic behavior only.
not IVE casually adding another trophy to the cabinet like it's nothing.
shortly before 1 p.m. KST on august 30, the music video for IVE's 2023 hit "I AM" crossed 400 million views on youtube — the group's FIRST mv ever to hit that milestone. the girlies did that.
for context: "I AM" dropped on april 10, 2023, which means it took about three years, four months and 19 days to get here. slow burn? maybe. but 400 million is 400 million and i'm not hearing any slander.
"I AM" being the one to break the record is honestly so fitting — it's THE main-character anthem. the manifestation queens ate and left zero crumbs. 💎
