SEVENTEEN's Wonwoo Releases Single 'Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter'
for his 30th birthday on july 17, wonwoo dropped a new track called 'Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter' at 6 p.m. kst — his second digital single, out in korean and japanese. it's a soft, seasons-passing love letter and yes, the emotional manipulation is working beautifully.
the birthday boy handing US the gift is a power move and we're all pretending we're fine. 'Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter' arrived at 6 p.m. kst on july 17 — the exact day wonwoo turned 30 — and the timeline has not recovered since.
it's his second digital single and it came out in both korean and japanese, so there is no escape route by language. the whole thing sits on one year's worth of seasons spent beside a person you love, plus the extremely dangerous wish that it just keeps going.
there's a music video too, obviously. no chaotic era, no surprise genre pivot, no 40-second teaser engineered to ruin a wednesday. just the quiet one from seventeen quietly ending everybody.
carats woke up to a birthday and a release in the same notification, which is a lot to ask of a person before coffee. thirty is looking offensively good on him.
happy birthday to wonwoo. condolences to the rest of us.

MONSTA X Open North American Tour Leg in Fairfax
back on US soil after four years and MONBEBE are, understandably, not okay (positive).
MONSTA X returning to America after FOUR years? the wait is officially over.
the group kicked off the North American leg of their 'THE X : NEXUS' tour in Fairfax — their first US show in about four years. for a fandom that's been extremely patient, this is less a concert date and more a long-awaited reunion.
MONSTA X live is a specific kind of chaos: the heavy choreo, the vocals, the sheer stage stamina. bringing that back to North American MONBEBE after this long is going to be genuinely emotional (read: unhinged, in the best way).
MONBEBE, your boys are back on the continent. hydrate before the show. 🔥
