so about stray kids casually rewriting their own record books again. 'THIS & THAT' debuted at NO. 1 on the billboard 200 and then — instead of politely tumbling — sat pretty at no. 3 the following week.

the milestone, factually: it's the first stray kids album to spend more than one week in the top 3 of the billboard 200. staying power, unlocked.

the second week was their best US frame yet too — around 82,000 equivalent album units for the week ending august 20, a new career high stateside. STAY did not come to play.

another chart record quietly in the bag and honestly the audacity is inspiring. leave some milestones for everyone else, maybe? (don't.)

enhypen moved 1.77 MILLION albums on day one like it was a quick errand

'The Sin : Bliss' topped the daily chart and stormed itunes in 23 countries the moment it dropped

not enhypen casually selling 1.77 MILLION copies of their new ep on release day. ON DAY ONE. some of us don't do 1.77 million of anything in a full lifetime.

the facts: 'The Sin : Bliss' — their eighth ep, led by 'Bloody Paradise' — came out august 22, immediately hit no. 1 on hanteo's daily album chart, and topped itunes' album chart in 23 countries including brazil, japan, malaysia and turkey.

the global-domination-before-lunch of it all. ENGENE mobilized like a professional army and the numbers came out frankly vulgar. complimentary, obviously.

eight eps deep and the boys are still speedrunning records. the sin, apparently, is being this consistent.

'SWIM' just tied 'butter' as bts's longest-charting hot 100 song and the STAMINA is scaring me

20 weeks on the billboard hot 100 and counting — the song simply refuses to leave and neither do we

no bc 'SWIM' said i'm not leaving and MEANT it. the track just tied 'butter' as bts's longest-charting song on the billboard hot 100 — twenty consecutive weeks and still going. the endurance is genuinely insane.

for context: 'butter' was a 2021 juggernaut, a literal song-of-the-summer situation, and 'SWIM' just pulled up to match its 20-week run on the chart. that's elite company. that's a flex.

it's currently parked at no. 91 this week which — before anyone clutches pearls — is exactly how longevity records work. songs don't camp on the hot 100 for five straight months by being mid. they camp there because people refuse to stop streaming.

so basically army did that. quietly, relentlessly, for twenty weeks straight. the loyalty is unmatched and frankly a little scary (complimentary).

we are so back and 'SWIM' is not going ANYWHERE. see you at week 21.
