“너 때문에 두근두근해”neo ttaemune dugeundugeunhae
on Ring Ding Dong →Approved & live
"두근두근" (dugeun-dugeun) is the onomatopoeia for a racing heartbeat — the thump-thump you feel around someone you're falling for — so "너 때문에 두근두근해" means "because of you, my heart's pounding." The song's own title is the matching trick: "Ring Ding Dong" is a cartoon bell ringing in your head at the instant you fall for someone (Wikipedia), so the line stacks two sound-effects at once, the bell and the heartbeat. "Ring Ding Dong" was released October 14, 2009 as the lead single of SHINee's third EP, 2009, Year of Us (Wikipedia).
