“난 yeppi, yeppi, 난 예쁘니까”nan yeppi, yeppi, nan yeppeunikka
on YEPPI YEPPIApproved & live
"Yeppi" is a playful re-spelling of yeppeuda (예쁘다), the Korean adjective for "pretty," dressed up to look like an English brand word while staying Korean at the root. "Yeppeunikka" means "because I'm pretty" — a statement of self-assurance, not a question. The song is a self-love anthem ("no matter what anyone says, I'm so beautiful") and appears on aespa's first mini-album, Savage, released October 2021 (kpoplyrics.net).
