“Say so, 솔직하게”Say so, soljikage
on Say So →Approved & live
"솔직하게" (soljikhage) means "honestly" or "frankly" — pairing it with "say so" turns the hook into a double ask: say the words, and mean them straight. Where the English playfully circles the point, the Korean adverb names the thing the whole song is fishing for — honesty. The original "Say So" rode a viral TikTok dance challenge to ubiquity in 2020 before the Nicki Minaj remix sent it to number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Wikipedia).
