The chorus uses it to invert the usual love-song frame: the narrator chases "you" not by choice but because she literally cannot stop. The title "자각몽" (jagangmong / lucid dream) sharpens the irony — a lucid dreamer is supposed to control the dream, yet this narrator has no control at all.
