“지금도 미래도”jigeumdo miraedo
on Dreams Come TrueApproved & live
"지금도 미래도" means "now and in the future too" — a compact promise of constancy folded into four syllables, sitting inside the English-Korean code-switch "(You gotta be mine, 지금도 미래도)." Mixing the English line with the Korean emotional anchor is typical of aespa's bilingual writing. The S.E.S. original "Dreams Come True" dates to November 23, 1998, and was itself a Korean adaptation of Finnish group Nylon Beat's 1996 song; aespa's remake arrived December 20, 2021 (Wikipedia).
