ATEEZ's San Attends Manchester City Match in Seoul

he pulled up to Man City vs Atlético in Seoul, a footy account clipped him, and the internet did what it does best — overreact.

no bc why is a grown man attending a SOCCER GAME suddenly a scandal. ATEEZ's San showed up to the opening ceremony of the Manchester City vs. Atlético Madrid match in Seoul, got caught on camera, and the timeline promptly lost the plot.

it started wholesome: San's been on a viral run after his performance of ATEEZ's 'BAD,' and then a Man City fan account posted about him at the stadium, beaming him straight to football Twitter who had NO idea who this man was. crossover event nobody scheduled.

then, as tradition demands, a few corners of the internet started nitpicking him for simply… existing in public without a stage and a lighting rig. ATEEZ fans were NOT letting that slide, clapping back that he was just a guy enjoying a match and the weird personal comments were unhinged. protect-San-at-all-costs energy, rightfully so.

the clip eventually got yanked for copyright, but the moment already made its rounds. the real takeaway? idols apparently can't attend a sports game in peace, and that says way more about the commenters than it does about San. anyway he was THERE, he was living, we love that for him. ⚽
