the Recording Academy sent out its invitations and JYP walked away with eighteen of them. eighteen. artists and executives, one label, one round. it's the group project everyone actually wanted to get picked for.
the names that matter: all nine of TWICE, all eight of Stray Kids, and Park Jin Young himself, all invited as VOTING members — meaning an actual ballot in who takes home a grammy. the label's CEO Jeong Wook and CSO Shin Hyun Kook came in as professional members, which is the category for the executive side of the house.
for scale, the academy extended more than 4,000 invitations in this round, so nobody's pretending this was a personal coronation. what it IS: a bloc of K-pop's biggest working acts now sitting inside the body that decides the outcome. that's structural, bestie. that hits different than a nomination.
