"죽겠어 (jukgesseo)" literally means "I'm going to die," but in everyday Korean it's hyperbole for "this is killing me / I can't stand it," and "너 때문에 (neo ttaemune)" = "because of you." So the hook is the melodramatic ache of "you're killing me." Billboard described "Killing Me" as a track "built around the idea of being haunted by a past love," with an MV featuring a choking move that mirrors the title (Billboard, 2018).
