“akdangeun gyeolguk jungneun geoya” 악당은 결국 죽는 거야

"악당은 결국 죽는 거야" means "the villain dies in the end" — and the twist is that it's sung from the villain's own mouth, 악당 (akdang) being the stock word for a story's bad guy. Stating the doomed ending as plain fact (결국, "in the end / after all") turns a hero's cliché into the antagonist's shrug. "Villain Dies" is a dark electro-pop track from (G)I-DLE's first studio album I Never Die (March 14, 2022), co-written and produced by member Soyeon (Wikipedia).
